TAHA's core objective is to ensure industry reformation in order to position horticulture to participate effectively in addressing national food security and nutrition issues, enhancing farmer income, and opening access to markets.

With a growth rate of 8-10% per annum, Tanzania's horticultural sector has registered tremendous progress in the past three years. Much of this growth can be attributed to the work of the vibrant TAHA and its partner organizations, including the critical support received from the Government of Tanzania, which drives the pace of change and development in the horticultural industry today.
